  • Application

    Archival Tissue is an excellent interleaving paper for prints, drawings, and photo albums. It also protects artifacts and collectibles.

    Buffered Tissue is buffered with calcium carbonate for added protection against acid migration.

    Unbuffered Archival Tissue is recommended for storing and protecting protein-based textiles such as silk and wool, and for interleaving certain photographic prints such as cyanotypes (blueprints), albumen photos, and dye-transfer photos.

    Shredded Archival Tissue is recommended to cushion ornaments, glass, and other fragile items for long term storage or transportation. This acid- and lignin-free, buffered shredded tissue paper is available in a 5 pound box.

  • Features

    Buffered Archival Tissue - acid-free, lignin-free, and thin for easy folding, padding, or crumpling without hard edges.

    Unbuffered Archival Tissue - intended to be used for storing and protecting protein-based textiles such as silk and wool, and for interleaving certain photographic prints such as cyanotypes (blueprints), albumen photos, or those made using the dye-transfer process.

    Unbuffered tissues are also anti-tarnish and are recommended for wrapping & storing silver and other metals. (However, exposure to air and other elements may still cause tarnish to occur to your collection over time. Our Un-Buffered Archival Tissue will not contribute to this process.)

    The tissues on rolls are on a 3-inch core with a 2-1/2-inch opening.
