    Our handcrafted Museum Drop Front Boxes provide elegant presentation and longterm archival storage for your collections.

    Store: matted or unmatted prints, photographs, digital prints, artwork, maps, drawings, etchings and other flat items

    Sizes: 1-1/2'' depth, from 11 x 14 to 24 x 36

    In Production: message means that size is not in stock. We recommend that you place your order to move it up on our production schedule.

    Handmade: in Rochester, NY, it may take 1 - 2 weeks to ship once you place your order. We appreciate your patience. Large quantities may take longer.

  • Features

    Design base of the box features a drop front to allow for easy access of contents. The removable top reduces table space needed when showing prints.

    Capacity will hold between 60 to 70 prints on 290-gram paper or between 10 to 17 matted prints, depending on mat board thickness (see Capacity Chart below)

    Strength double thick side walls (1/4 inch) on the base of the box provide the extra structure needed for larger print sizes and for stacking

    Quality acid-free, lignin-free materials provide for archival storage worthy of museum-quality prints

    Close Tolerance construction protects against dust, light, pests, and environmental pollutants

    Acid-Free - Yes

    Lignin-Free - Yes - lignin content is measured by the phloroglucinol test with a Kappa number of 5 or less.

    Buffered - Yes - contains a minimum of 3% calcium carbonate (CaCO3) with a pH range 8-9.5

    P.A.T. passed the Photographic Activity Test

    Materials top, sides, and bottom is Kappa binder’s board (.100), a bookmaking board with no glue between layers

    Materials lined with 14 point acid-free and lignin-free card stock

    Materials covered in book binding cloth with a moisture-resistant, 100% aqueous acrylic coating

    Adhesive is EVA, pH balanced and buffered, <.0008% sulfur content
